Captain America: New World Order has started filming with Liv Tyler’s return
‘Captain America: New World Order has officially started filming.
The most recent casting information for Captain America: New World Order shows that the movie is The Incredible Hulk 2, a follow-up to the Marvel film from 2008
After Iron Man introduced the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Incredible Hulk, the second Marvel Studio film, was released in the summer of 2008.
It featured Edward Norton as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, who famously left the franchise to play a role in 2012’s The Avengers instead of Mark Ruffalo.
Liv Tyler has joined the cast of Captain America 4, which is currently known as Captain America: New World Order, fifteen years after appearing in The Incredible Hulk. She will play scientist Betty Ross once more.

Ross is the daughter of “Thunderbolt” Ross, General Thaddeus, who Harrison Ford will represent in the upcoming film. Thunderbolt Ross got previously portrayed by the late William Hurt in some movies.
Several of the film’s elements have yet to be fully exploited in the MCU because the Incredible Hulk’s tale has not continued. The Incredible Hulk’s aspects have been overlooked despite Thunderbolt Ross’s reappearance in Captain America: Civil War, especially in light of Mark Ruffalo’s replacement of Edward Norton as Bruce Banner.
However, the information that has been made public on Phase 5’s impending Captain America: New World Order indicates that the movie is a covert sequel to The Incredible Hulk.
According to speculations, the Serpent Society may appear in the movie as Marvel continues to cast villains for New World Order, filling various mystery parts, including the nameless character played by Xosha Roquemore.
Three Amazing Hulk Characters Are Back in Captain America 4
The casting announcement surrounding Captain America: New World Order is the key factor supporting its justification as a sequel to Incredible Hulk.
Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role as Samuel Sterns, also known as The Leader, in the movie, according to information revealed by Marvel at the D23 Expo in September 2022.
One of the main characters in The Incredible Hulk was Samuel Sterns, who helped Bruce Banner by attempting to find a treatment for the illness that caused him to transform into the Hulk.
Since that film, the character has yet to get seen again, but Sterns returns in Captain America: New World Order as the Leader, a villain from Marvel Comics.
Shortly after the announcement of Nelson’s reappearance in New World Order, it got also reported that Harrison Ford had been cast as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross after the loss of William Hurt. Two Incredible Hulk characters returning already solidified Captain America 4 as the former’s sequel, but even more casting news got revealed.
Captain America 4 began filming in March 2023, and plenty of news emerged from the film’s various sets. One rumour claimed that Liv Tyler would return to the MCU as Betty Ross.
The film gets directed by Julius Onah ( “The Cloverfield Paradox.” “Luce”) from a screenplay by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman. Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the producers.
