Jeremy Allen White won Best TV Actor at Golden Globe Award
Jeremy Allen White achieved the ‘Best Television Actor’ award at the 80th Golden Globe on Tuesday, January 10, for his incredible performance on The Bear.
Jeremy Allen White was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the first time.
The veteran of Shameless, a finalist for TVLine Performer of the Year, defeated Martin Short, Bill Hader (Barry), Steve Martin ( Only Murders in the Building), Bill Hader (Barry) (Only Murders in the Building), and Donald Glover (Atlanta).
In addition to praising the program’s production staff, cast, and crew, White expressed his enthusiasm for the show and his role.
In the FX/Hulu series, Jeremy Allen White plays Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef from the fine dining industry who is forced to move back to Chicago to manage his family’s sandwich store following the suicide of his brother.
White must deal with his new reality in the critically praised dark comedy, his new culinary crew, family, and the loss of his brother.

Jeremy Allen on how taking on the role of a chef in “The Bear” altered his relationship with food, “I pay more attention… I started looking at it in a bigger way.”
While accepting the trophy, White said, “I love The Bear… I love Carmy…[To] my cast and crew, if I’m good, it is because you are good, so thank you so much ..You changed my life.”
The Bear is an American comedy tv show written by Christopher Storer. On June 23, 2022, it had its Hulu debut. It starred Jeremy Allen White, Liza Colón-Zayas, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Abby Elliott. Critics praised the television program & gave high marks. July 14, 2022, saw the addition of a second season.
White disclosed that a friend of his committed suicide weeks before filming because The Bear dealt with some touchy subjects, including suicide. People have contacted him since the series’ release, and he claimed “telling that it struck with them.”
On Rotten Tomatoes, the show’s first season debuted on June 23 with a 100% rating from critics and a 92 percent viewer approval rating.
White said he hadn’t read anything when questioned about season two backstage and withheld much information. But he did assume that in the second season, viewers would be able to watch the process of constructing a kitchen from the base up.
At the 2023 Golden Globes( 80th edition), The Bear received a nomination for best musical or comedic television series.
Tuesday night’s 80th annual ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was presided over by Jerrod Carmichael, and it was the first event since the scandal surrounding the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
