Leeteuk said they never took a break even after enlisting in the army during a virtual press conference last Wednesday.

“We never stopped to rest. We all joined the army, but even with some of us serving, the band continued to perform and release new records, so that’s one of our abilities, “In Korean Leeteuk remarked.

The Hulu and Disney Plus original “Super Junior: The Last Man Standing” was launched on January 18 by SM Entertainment. It details the history, challenges, and triumphs of the group.

Leeteuk, Shindong, Heechul,  Sungmin,  Yesung, Eunhyuk, Siwon,  Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun make up Super Junior. Han Geng, Kangin,   and Kibum are their former members who departed the group in 2011, 2019, and 2015  respectively.

When Leeteuk and Donghae joined SM Entertainment for a group called Smile in 2000, before their debut, Smile eventually split up. Still, additional members, including Siwon, joined the group in the years that followed. Super Junior finally had 12 members, which was too much for the time. On November 6, 2005, they made their debut.

Even though their debut single, “Twins Knock Out,” failed to chart, they found success with their third and fourth singles, “Miracle” and “U.”

Kyuhyun, the youngest member of Super Junior (known as the maknae in Korean), was also included in the latter song. Soon after, they started dividing into other groups to elevate certain team members and abilities.
