PSY & Suga’s collab ‘That That,’ surpassed 400M YouTube Views

The iconic collaboration between PSY and BTS, Suga, has just accomplished an impressive new accomplishment in its music video!

On August 7, shortly after 1 p.m. KST, PSY’s music video for the first single from his most recent album, “That That,” which Suga also produced, reached 400 million views on YouTube.

Min Yoongi (Suga) thus joins PSY as the only Korean solo artist with two MVs that have received over 400 million views on YouTube.

South Korean musician PSY and rapper-singer  Suga of BTS collaborated on the song “That That” for  Psy 9th, the eighth studio album of PSY. The duo co-wrote and produced the song. On April 29, 2022, P Nation made it available for digital download and streaming as the album’s lead single.

“That That” was declared the opening track for the eighth studio album of PSY,  Psy 9th, on April 26, 2022. Tony Maserati performed the mixing, and Chris Gehringer of Sterling Sound handled the mastering.

The song “That That” took just over 99 days and 19 hours to reach the 300 million mark after the music video for the song was first published on April 29 at 6 p.m. KST.

After  “Daddy,” “Gangnam Style,” “Hangover,” “Gentleman,” and “Oppa is Just My Style” (an altered rendition of “Gangnam Style” featured HyunA), “That That” is now the first K-pop music video of 2022 to surpass 400 million views.

On a seashore in Incheon, the music video for “That That” was shot in the middle of March. According to PSY, the cold, rainy weather made it challenging to film because the sand turned muddy and caused their feet to sink into the soil. Within 24 hours after its publication, it received more than Thirty million views, and a week later, 100 million views.
