Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania is the 31st movie of MCU( Marvel Cinematic Universe) and the sequel to 2015’s Ant-Man & 2018s Ant-Man and the Wasp. The film is produced by Marvel Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Peyton Reed is the film’s director, and Jeff Loveness is its screenwriter.
Star cast
The cast includes Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, Randall Park, Michelle Pfeiffer, David Dastmalchian, and Jonathan Majors. Paul Rudd plays Scott Lang, while Evangeline Lilly plays Hope van Dyne. In the movie, Kang the Conqueror is faced by Lang and Van Dyne as they explore the Quantum Realm with their family.
Additionally, Bill Murray is cast as an unnamed villain who has a history with Janet van Dyne in the Quantum Realm, while Gregg Turkington returns as Dale, the manager of a Baskin-Robbins store that Lang worked in the 2015’s Ant-Man.
In November 2019, it was announced that a third Ant-Man film featuring Reed and Rudd was in the works. By April 2020, Loveness had a job, and filming had already started before the COVID-19 epidemic.
The movie’s title and the new cast members were made public in December 2020. Production began in Turkey in early February 2021, continued there through mid-June, and then commenced primary photography at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire at the end of July and ran through November.
Storyline
A new adventure testing their limits and pitting them against Kang the Conqueror is undertaken by Hope van Dyne and Scott Lang, together with Lag’s daughter Cassie, Janet van Dyne & Hank Pym ( Hope’s parents).
Release Date
On February 17, 2023, The MCU’s film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, will be released. The movie was initially scheduled to come out in 2022, but in May 2021, it was formally confirmed that it would come out on February 17, 2023.
In October 2021, it was postponed until July 28, 2023, and in April 2022, the film was moved back to February 20, 2023. It will be the opening picture of the MCU’s Phase Five.
