Jennie Recently Fronts Chanel 22 Bag Campaign
The Chanel ’22 bag now has a new commercial face, with BLACKPINK star Jennie joining Lily Rose and Whitney Peak.
New promotional photos for Chanel featuring Jennie of BLACKPINK, the brand ambassador, have been released.
In a series of collaged photos taken by Inez & Vinoodh on Seoul’s streets, the Korean pop sensation, who has teamed with the Parisian house since 2017, is visible.
The 22 Bag, introduced in January of last year after being featured on 2022’s Virginie Viard’s Spring/Summer runway, is highlighted by the globally acclaimed South Korean musician.
The images also feature Chanel ambassadors Whitney Peak, Lily-Rose Depp, and Margaret Qualley, featuring the tote and backpack versions.
About the ad, Jennie said, “Vinoodh & Inez called me ‘My Girl. They don’t just view me as “Jennie” in the limelight; they see me as a young woman, which comforts me.”
Campaign films will be released on April 3 after the campaign launches on March 21.
