Nigerian singer, Wizkid announces his new album will release on Nov 4
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. A prominent figure in the modern-day Afrobeats music scene, Wizkid is regarded as one of the most famous and influential African artists.
Wizkid’s New Album
He has announced a new album: “More Love, Less Ego” on November 3 via Starboy/Sony Music International/RCA Records. On Friday, Wizkid released the first track, “Money & Love” of his newly announced upcoming album. The song was published with an accompanying video. In the visual, Wizkid stands on the sidewalk sipping tea while trading glances with two women at a newsstand.
The album will include the previously-released single “Bad to Me,” produced by Wizkid’s longtime collaborator P2J.
Sharing the pre-order link for his album on Friday, Wizkid wrote, “More Love Less Ego. 4 November,” while revealing the artwork for the album cover.
Shortly after his announcement for the upcoming album “Money & Love”, Wizkid twitted, “Money & Love out now! Video out soon”.
In October 2021, the Grammy-winning singer revealed the title of his next album.
Fondly referred to as Big Wiz, the multiple award-winning singer assured his fans that he would not let them wait for so long before releasing the new album.
In May, Wizkid announced the completion of his album and thanked contributors to the body of work. Finally, the countdown is over.
“More Love, Less Ego” is Wizkid’s fifth studio album, followed by 2020’s “Made in Lagos.”In 2020, he released a deluxe edition of the album, which included a guest appearance from Justin Bieber on the song “Essence.” Earlier this year, he worked with Chris Brown on the single “Call Me Every Day” and has notably collaborated with Drake, Skepta, Burna Boy, and more in the past few years.
