Rodrigo commented, “2day is my last day of being a teenage dirtbag,” referring to the Wheatus song from 2000 that became popular on TikTok in 2022. Users of “Teenage Dirtbag” uploaded pictures of themselves as teenagers to social media accounts, along with sentimental and embarrassing messages.

Rodrigo donated products to the MusiCares Foundation Charity Relief Auction in January 2023 with Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, BTS, and J-Hope to assist suffering musicians with medical costs and other financial necessities.
