Aaron Lynch is an American footballer who plays for NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end. Born on 8th March 1993, in Cape Coral, Florida USA to Alice Lynch.


Aaron did his schooling from Island Coast High School, Cape Coral, where he led the team to 11-2 record as a senior in 2010. Hehasa record for 31 solo stops and 10.5 sacks during senior campaign. He has also played for US Army All American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas in 2011.

Aaron enrolled in an early semester at Notre Dame in 2011. In his freshman season he worked his way up to the second team and dominated the annual blue gold game. He played 12 games in his first year at Notre Dame, starting in 6 of them. In the 11th Annual Football Writers Association of All American Team, he was awarded a first team selection.

In his Junior year, he led the Bulls with six sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss, playing in all 12 games. Lynch finished the season strong, despite the bulls 3-9 record.


In 2014, Aaron was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 5th round with the 150th overall pick up of the 2014 NFL draft. Aaron finished his rookie season with 23 tackles. In 2015 season, Lynch appeared in 14 games, he had 6.5 stacks and 38 tackles. In 2016, he appeared in 7 games with total 13 tackles and in 2017 season he did not appear due to back injury.

He signed a one-year contract with Chicago Bears and played in 13 games with 16 tackles and three starts, in 2018. He re-signed with Chicago Bears on April 2019. Aaron signed a one-year contract with Jacksonville Jaguars in May 2020. Due to personal reasons, he retired from football in August 2020, after two months of retirement, he was reinstated on the roster of Jaguars.
