Sydney concert by Post Malone draws raucous applause
When Post Malone performed in Sydney on Sunday while sporting a cheap hat from Bunnings Warehouse, he threw his Australian fans into a tailspin.
The 27-year-old American rapper served as Red Hot Chili Peppers’ opening act at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.
On stage, he wore a wide-brimmed hat with a Bunning’s logo that cost $7.

Another person remarked, “Bunnings hat… he should earn permanent residency on the spot for that.”
Watch all the Bunnings hats fly off the shelves, said a third.
Fans erupted earlier in the tour when the Better Now rapper ‘did a shoey’ on stage from a filthy Converse shoe.
The audience encouraged him to participate in the Aussie custom by chanting “shoo-ey! shoo-ey!” and shouted with glee when he received the sneaker from a spectator, filled it with beer, and chugged it on stage.

The New Yorker, his partner, and their infant daughter arrived in Australia last week.
During an interview on The Howard Stern Show in June of last year, he disclosed that he had given birth to his first kid.
He doesn’t discuss his personal life, though, since he wants his daughter to “make her judgments.”
There is only so much information available about his partner, Jamie, other than that they are planning to get married.
Post Malone has previously traveled to Australia in 2017, 2018, and 2019, making this his fourth visit. Post Malone has a consistent setlist repeated at every concert for the 2023 Australian tour, featuring 16 of 16 chart songs, including four US number ones.
Today February 7 ( Tuesday), Post Malone will take the stage for the Melbourne event at 7:15 p.m. At 9 o’clock, Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform.
