STAYC will release the 1st teaser of “Teddy Bear,” on 14th Feb

STAYC formally unveiled the date and specifics of their anticipated February comeback on January 31. Prepare for a Valentine’s Day celebration with STAYC!

The girl group will make their first appearance in seven months on Valentine’s Day( February 14) at 6 p.m. KST with the release of the new single album “Teddy Bear.”

High Up Entertainment founded the South Korean girl group STAYC. Six people comprise the group: Sieun,  Sumin, Isa, Yoon,  Seeun, and J. With the release of their first single album Star to a Young Culture, on November 12, 2020, they made their public debut.

The music video for the album’s debut track, “So Bad,” was released on November 12 and attracted over 2.6 million views on its first day.

Their album, dropped on the same day, sold more than 4,300 copies on the first day, a record for a girl group making their debut in 2020.

It continued to sell more than 10,000 copies in its first week, making history as the first girl group debut album to accomplish so in 2020.

On November 13, 2020, the group had its music show debut at KBS Music Bank. Appearances at Show Champion, Inkigayo, and The Show followed this.

The album debuted on the weekly Gaon Album Chart at position 17. “So Bad” debuted at number 21 on the World Digital Song Sales chart and number 90 on Billboard’s K-pop Hot 100.

STAYC’s second single album Staydom, with the lead single “ASAP,” was released on April 8, 2021. The “ASAP” music video debuted simultaneously with the album and amassed 20 million views in nine days.

Additionally, the song got included in the K-pop 100 weekly list of  Billboard. Fifty-six thousand one hundred ninety-eight copies of Staydom got sold within the first month.

The group released Stereotype, the lead track from their debut extended play, on September 6. In just 21 days, the music video received 30 million views.

Over 114,000 copies of the album got sold in its first week. With an overall score of 8,760 points, the group won their first music show trophy on  The Show by SBS MTV on September 14.

The release day for STAYC’s second EP, Young-Luv.com, with the lead song, “Run2U,” was February 21, 2022. The album debuted at the pinnacle of the Gaon Album Chart, earning its first chart-topping release. On the Gaon Digital Chart, the single peaked at position number four.

We Need Love, along with its lead track “Beautiful Monster,” was released by STAYC on July 19. According to the announcement, the group’s first fan gathering will occur on August 13.

STAYC made its Japanese debut on November 23 with the track “Poppy.” On the Oricon Singles Chart, the song peaked at position seven.

High Up Entertainment said on January 18, 2023, that STAYC would release an album in February. On January 31, STAYC announced that Teddy Bear, their fourth single album, would get released on February 14. The pre-order will start on February 1, 2023.
