Johnny Depp & Keira Knightley may return to Pirates Of The Caribbean 6

Producer of Pirates of the Caribbean said he would “absolutely adore” to see Johnny Depp return to the filming location.

The producer has made hints that the actor would make a comeback in the sixth installment of the movie series.

One of the biggest series to produce cult classic writing and performances is Pirates of the Caribbean. The franchise’s star, Johnny Depp, created the enduring figure of Jack Sparrow.

His future with the Pirates is rather dubious, nevertheless, as a result of his involvement in the court trial debacle. Keira Knightley, who plays the movie’s primary female character, recently discussed whether or not she will return for the sequel.

In the 2003 film “The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” Keira Knightley portrayed Elizabeth Swann. She appeared in the two following sequels alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. She had, however, made a fleeting appearance in the 2017 film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

During a recent interview with ETonline at the Boston Stranger premiere, Keira Knightley discussed whether or not she will star in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean film.

Johnny Depp’s Hollywood career suffered for several years due to his legal troubles with Amber Heard, his ex-wife. He is highly regarded for playing Captain Jack Sparrow in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies. In the planned sequel to the movie, Depp might return.

The blockbuster swashbuckling film franchise’s producer Jerry Bruckheimer has hinted that Johnny Depp would reprise his Captain Jack Sparrow role in the sixth installment. Jerry Bruckheimer talked about wanting Johnny Depp to return in the future Pirates movie in an interview with Entertainment Tonight while attending the Oscars for his work on Top Gun: Maverick.

Bruckheimer stated to Entertainment Tonight: “The upcoming Pirates feature is something we’re all working on. We’ll wait and see what happens. We are ecstatic.”

Following Amber Heard’s allegations of domestic abuse, Depp’s representative earlier asserted that the actor was denied £18 million ($22.5 million) pay for Pirates of the Caribbean 6.

After Heard, his ex-wife, wrote an article for the Washington Post in 2018, saying that she had experienced physical and sexual abuse, Johnny Depp claimed he got fired from the movie.

In testimony at the libel trial for the ex-couple, Jack Whigham said that Depp did not act in any studio movies between December 2018 and October 2020.

Celebrity actor Johnny Depp is basking in the glow of his significant victory in the defamation case brought against him by his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Depp was named the highest-paid actor in the world by Guinness World Records in 2012, with yearly earnings reportedly exceeding $75 million.

Whigham said Depp and Disney had a $22.5 million (  £18 million) “formal arrangement” for him to return in the sixth sequel of Pirates of the Caribbean, but in 2019 the actor was informed the studio had changed its mind.

It is believed that Depp has rejoined the undertaking.

The actor’s name got discovered on a call sheet, and The Sun claimed in November last year that he was slated to take part in a test shoot for the movie in February.
