Jason Momoa shared a video on IG after the DCU meeting

Jason Momoa posted a video of himself giddy with joy on his Instagram Stories shortly after meeting with Warner Bros. about his alleged future in the DC Universe.

Jason Momoa and DC Studios will soon be the subject of significant news. The actor only expresses how excited he is for fans to learn what he is yearning to share with everyone, giving no further information about what makes him so pleased. Fans are now speculating about the film that has gone viral.

Jason Momoa, Aquaman, and the Lost Kingdom actor, enthusiastically responded to the news that James Gunn and Peter Safran would take over as co-heads of DC Studios back in November.

The trades would subsequently disclose that there had been negotiations about him maybe taking on the part of Lobo. The Dune actor had mentioned having the chance to work on a “dream project.”

In response to a meeting with DC  Universe/Warner Bros. Discover that went his way, Momoa has just shared another video to his Instagram stories!

He stops short of mentioning the project or role, but it would surprise us if he weren’t informed that he would be giving the Main Man life on the big screen!

We’ll have to wait to find out precisely what Momoa has planned, but based on how genuinely thrilled he is, it doesn’t appear like this will be his next appearance as Aquaman.

Based on that remark, it seems more like Momoa has landed the dream job he has been hoping for his entire life. The fact that Momoa has had his eye on a DC character for years makes it highly likely that this has anything to do with the long-rumored film Lobo.

Is Jason Momoa’s run as Aquaman over?

As soon as it was revealed that James Gunn and Peter Safran would lead the charge at DC Studios, speculations started to circulate that Momoa would be working on a Lobo movie.

When asked if he might have been referring to Lobo, Momoa could not provide a clear response but acknowledged that it would be “wonderful” to be given that opportunity. At the time, he claimed that the leadership shift had made a “DC dream” come true.

Whatever the case, Momoa isn’t nearly done with Aquaman yet. When Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is released, he’ll play the part at least once more. After several delays, the sequel will finally hit theatres on December 25, 2023.
