Michael B Jordan, Janelle Monáe, and others are among the Oscar presenters
Michael B Jordan, Janelle Monáe, and Ariana DeBose are just a few famous people hosting the 2023’s 95th Oscars (Academy Awards).
Together with former Oscar nominees Samuel L. Jackson, Glenn Close, and Melissa McCarthy, the 95th annual gala will feature presentations by Oscar winners Jennifer Connelly, Riz Ahmed, Troy Kotsur, Ariana DeBose, and Questlove.
Together with their Creed III co-star Jonathan Majors and Michael B Jordan, Janelle Monáe, Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, and Zoe Saldana are also expected to appear.
Deepika Padukone, a star of the Bollywood cinema industry, and Donnie Yen, a director, actor, and mixed martial artist from Hong Kong, are also expected to attend, demonstrating the Oscars’ expanding international appeal and following.
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, the Executive producers, showrunners, and executive producer Molly McNearney were also announced today. In the run-up to the show, the producers will keep promoting new talent at the Award ceremony.

Ariana DeBose will perform on the Oscar stage after her viral rap at the BAFTA awards event in February, which praised female nominees such as Viola Davis and Angela Bassett. DeBose received her first Academy Award nomination for “West Side Story” and won the 2022’s Academy award for supporting actress.
The selection of Michael B Jordan as an Oscar presenter follows his installation on Wednesday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It comes before the premiere of “Creed III,” in which he stars and makes his directorial debut, on Friday.
Janelle Monáe, a musician and actor, starred in the 2016’s Oscar-winning movie “Moonlight” and also made appearances in the Oscar-nominated films “Hidden Figures,” & “Glass Onion” (2022).
The Academy revealed in November that Jimmy Kimmel would preside over the event for a third time.
According to Janet Yang, the Academy President, remarked on November 16: “We believed like we required an individual who could absolutely handle the show.”
In a preview for the ceremony that appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel gave viewers a sneak peek into his hosting duties in February by making fun of “Top Gun: Maverick,” a best picture nominee.
This year’s nominations are headed by
- “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” which received Eleven nominations,
- “All Quiet on the Western Front” was nominated in nine categories
- “The Banshees of Inisherin” received nine.
The films which are round out the best picture category:
- “Elvis,”
- “The Fabelmans,”
- “Avatar: The Way of Water,”
- “Tár,”
- “Top Gun: Maverick,”
- “Triangle of Sorrow,”
- and “Women Talking.”
On March 12, 2023, the Dolby Theatre at the Ovation Hollywood will host the 95th Academy Awards (Oscar 2023), broadcast live on ABC and over 200 other countries.
