That sparked a barrage of exuberant remarks from supporters, including: “I miss you; you have no idea how pleased I am now. Please be careful.” Another said, “Please come back as soon as possible and unharmed. I felt like I was having hallucinations since I clicked on the notice so quickly.”

According to multiple Korean media agencies, Jin has reportedly completed his formal training at the Division Recruit center and is now a commander. On social media, videos of him from the camp have gone viral.
On December 13, Jin left for military training. At the camp, RM, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, and V said goodbye to him on behalf of the rest of his band. However, Jin had previously recorded films that would be made available to fans over the following few months to help ARMY get through the gap.
When discussing Jin’s departure earlier, RM had said, “Jin didn’t speak much. I believe he was thinking a lot, and when we arrived at the [training field], he assured us as the senior member that he would return safely. Once I’ve had a chance to use it, I’ll let everyone know how it goes. I asked him to take care of himself because he is so strong and should use that strength to act like he always does: softly, peacefully, and without incidents. I supported him in that way.”
As an active duty soldier, Jin is presently assigned to the Division Recruit Training Center at the army installation in Yeoncheon, located in the northern Gyeonggi province.
