Windows 11 will only support Android apps in the next few months

On August 31, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 would be available to the general public, and subject to compatible computers, from October 5. However, Microsoft did not say everything in its press release.

Indeed, an important feature planned for Windows 11 is the support of Android applications. However, this functionality will not be present in the new Microsoft operating system on October 5th. We will have to wait a few months, even many months.

Aaron Woodman, Microsoft’s Windows Marketing Director, said:

We look forward to continuing our journey to bring Android apps to Windows 11 and the Microsoft Store through our collaboration with Amazon and Intel. It will start with a preview for Windows Insiders over the next few months.

It will probably take several more months before the feature leaves the Insiders channel to be available to the general public.
