“Sugar Rush Ride” by TXT is the fastest music video (MV) by a fourth-generation male group to earn 100 million views on YouTube.
After “Blue Hour,” “Run Away,” “CROWN,” and “Cat & Dog,” TXT’s famous title track “Sugar Rush Ride” music video became their fifth to reach that milestone on YouTube at around 1:20 p.m. KST on March 6.

It took TXT just over 37 days and 23 hours for the music video for “Sugar Rush Ride” to reach the milestone since it was first made available on January 27 at 2 p.m. KST.
“Sugar Rush Ride” has broken TXT’s previous record of roughly 211 days held by “Blue Hour” from 2021 for the fastest music video to reach the 100 million mark.

Tomorrow X Together of South Korea released the song “Sugar Rush Ride” as the first single off “The Name Chapter: Temptation,” their fifth Korean extended play (EP). It was given access on January 27, 2023, via Big Hit Music and Republic Records.
At a business event on November 9, 2022, the parent company of Big Hit Music, Hybe Corporation, first disclosed intentions for Future X Together to release an EP in January 2023.
“The Name Chapter,” the group’s new album series, was previewed on November 26 during their performance at the 2022’s Melon Music Awards and again on December 3 in a concept trailer posted to their official Youtube account.

A “saccharine dance pop” song featuring “funky guitar riffs” and whistles is followed by Sugar Rush Ride. The song’s duration is three minutes and six seconds, written in the key of A minor.
The Dream Chapter: Breaking beyond the bubble of youth to face realities like strained friendships, conflict, the quest for one’s own identity, and even fears like ambiguity, loss, and death, Eternity addressed the darkest side of life yet.
TXT’s message has always been recognizing youth’s potential and understanding how to transition from childhood to adolescence to maturity.
Their entire body of work functions as a history, charting the stages of life and encasing it all in a web of fantasies and desires.

TXT has recently started embracing life’s darker undertones, hinting at revolt and eroticism. “Sugar Rush Ride,” drenched in ideas inspired by Peter Pan and Neverland, is the band’s admission that childhood must end. In the music video, reminiscent of the Lost Boys in Neverland, the band’s journey over an Eden-like island is the top way this message is conveyed.
The five members, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, aren’t afraid to showcase a more sensual side of their artistry, performing powerful but sexy choreography to accompany the hypnotic dream pop track.
They’re covered in glitter and honey and show more skin than ever. The youths finally leave the island and head towards a boat, signaling their return to the harsh reality of the outside world as the sets and costumes get darker.
