The Barbie trailer starring Magot Robbie is playing before Avatar 2.
Barbie is a forthcoming American romantic comedy film based on Mattel’s fashion doll brand of the same name. The film will be directed by Greta Gerwig and written by Noah Baumbach. As Barbie and Ken, respectively, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are the stars of an ensemble cast.

After a succession of computer-animated direct-to-video and streaming television movies, it represents the franchise’s first live-action film adaptation.
The movie was first announced by Universal Pictures in 2009, with Laurence Mark serving as the initial producer. However, development started in April 2014 when Sony Pictures bought the rights to the movie. Sony lost the rights, which were then given to Warner Bros. Pictures after numerous writer and director changes and the selection of two separate women to play the lead role.
Robbie was cast in the role in 2019 and is also a producer for Mattel Films, Heyday Films, and her LuckyChap Entertainment label. In 2021, Gerwig’s positions were confirmed as co-writer and director with Baumbach. Early in 2022, Gosling and the rest of the cast were revealed. In March 2022, filming at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England, started and ended in July.

Robbie just revealed one exciting Barbie’s accessory that will appear in the movie during an Actors on Actors interview with Variety. In a conversation with Carey Mulligan, Robbie was questioned directly if the production of Barbie contained enormous Barbie Dream Houses. Robbie responded that the much-anticipated playsets would include Barbie.

After nearly 15 years of a Barbie movie trying to get off the ground, Robbie will feature Ryan Gosling in the film that will bring Barbie and Ken to life. Robbie and Ryan Gosling may be seen wearing neon spandex outfits in the first set of photographs from Barbie that surfaced online earlier this year. That became even more thrilling when a video of Robbie’s Barbie voice and Gosling’s Ken scream appeared online and quickly went popular on social media.
The news that the much-loved Barbie Dream Houses would appear in Barbie is a good indication that the movie will stress the iconic elements of the Barbie brand. Given that Barbie is shaping to be the ideal Barbie’s nostalgia, this suggests that more vintage Barbie accessories and aspects appear inside the movie’s tale. For the time being, Barbie’s theatrical release is still a few months away.

What a clever marketing ploy to link it with the most anticipated film of the year, with which the movie is currently experiencing record-breaking anticipation. What better approach to draw attention to your product than to include it in the follow-up to the all-time highest-grossing film? Back in June, when the first photos of Robbie and, in particular, Ryan Gosling, were made public, social media erupted into a frenzy. Still, the anticipation is now almost beyond control.

America Ferrera, Alexandra Shipp, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emma Mackey, Issa Rae, and Michael Cera are all part of the cast of Barbie. Will Ferrell has joined the ensemble as the CEO of Mattel, who is anticipated to be the movie’s adversary. After collaborating with Gerwig on Little Women, Alexandre Desplat will compose the soundtrack for the film.
Ferrell will play the CEO of Mattell in his role, while the other actors’ characters are still unknown. The movie is anticipated to hit theatres next summer; thus, advertising for Barbie will probably start to appear and provide more information about what to expect from this next release.
