So!YoOn! releases the teaser of the song “Smoke Sprite,” featuring BTS’ RM

A preview for the upcoming collaboration, “Smoke Sprite,” between RM from BTS and So!YoON!, aka Hwang So-Yoon, the main vocalist of SE SO NEON, has been made public.

Hwang So-Yoon, known as So!YoON!, of the indie rock group SE SO NEON from South Korea, unveiled a preview for her next song, “Smoke Sprite,” on Thursday (March 9), in which the BTS member makes a fleeting appearance.

A quick scenario involving RM and So!YoON! Standing back-to-back flashes by, various video scenes follow swiftly, and a fast-paced music segment is playing in the background.

A black screen with white writing alerting viewers of the collaboration’s release date concludes the 10-second clip.

On March 14 at 6:00 PM KST, the lead single, “Smoke Sprite,”  from the second studio album by So!YoON!, “Episode 1: Love,” will get released. The song “Smoke Sprite” will also have a music video release.

The latest RM collaboration follows the release of his most recent solo album, Indigo. The project made RM the highest charting K-pop soloist, released in December, and debuted at 3rd position on the Billboard 200.

The collaboration is one of the newest projects the BTS lads are working on. On March 24, Jimin will release ‘FACE,’ his solo debut album, and Suga will start his August D Tour in April.

“Episode 1: Love” is the follow-up of the singer So!YoON!’s debut solo album from 2019. The vocalist’s band SE SO NEON also released the singles “joke!” and “Jayu” in 2021.

Japanese Breakfast and So!YoON! Collaborated on a Korean translation of their 2021’s song, “Be Sweet,” last year.

The music and a neon-lit visualizer featuring the couple driving and dancing to it were both published along with the duet.
