Larry June & The Alchemist brings n Big Sean for a Joint Album
The Great Escape, a collaborative album by Larry June and The Alchemist that has already received critical acclaim, including the singles “60 Days” and “89 Earthquake,” is set to be released soon.
The West Coast team released a new song on March 22 called “Palisades, CA,” which features Big Sean and furthers the ideal fusion of Al’s booming production and June’s laid-back verses about his more than comfortable existence.

Shots of donuts got performed behind the wheels of some of your favorite American muscle cars seamlessly blend with Sean’s participation and his classic Ferrari.
His most recent solo album, Spaceships on the Blade, which debuted at number one, was released by June in November 2022. Twenty tracks made up that project, featuring Babyface Ray, 2 Chainz, Wallo267, Curren$y, DUCKWRTH, and Syd.
The following year, he collaborated with Jay Worthy and his LNDN DRGS group on the similarly excellent 2 P’z In A Pod, featuring Roc Marciano, Suga Free, CeeLo Green, and Jim Jones.
The project has been in development for two years. In 2021, June first began to work on the project.
Alc revealed that he and June were collaborating on a new project a year later. Both California natives started their joint record promotion in earnest back in February.

They released their first song, “60 Days,” to increase anticipation for the album. Later, June and Al revealed the name of their album, The Great Escape, and released the video for “89 Earthquake” earlier this month. They announced the animated album cover and the official release date, March 31, last week.
Larry June announced the dates for the next “Larry’s Market Run” tour just before he published the most recent track from the album. Beginning in May, the 47-city time will stop in several significant cities before ending in July. The Alchemist and Larry June Bring in Big Sean for a Joint Album.
Before releasing The Great Escape, their collaboration project, June and The Alchemist released some ambitious and extravagant songs. “Palisades, CA” is the most recent in this series.
