Jisoo from BLACKPINK will drop her first solo album on March 31
The long-awaited debut album of BLACKPINK member Jisoo has a fixed release date, the group’s agency announced on Monday.
The album will get released on March 31, Friday. An enigmatic “Coming Soon” teaser image with a dazzling broad red piece of fabric spread on a gorgeous green field got used by YG Entertainment to announce this on its official site.
“See you soon,” Jisoo wrote in the Instagram image’s description. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s official Instagram account posted the teaser poster.
But, except for the album’s release date, the agency provided no more details.

Jisoo became the fourth and final member of the group to branch out with her music. Reports appeared at the beginning of the year claiming that her eagerly anticipated solo debut was finally in the works.
Jisoo was preparing to release solo songs in 2023, YG Entertainment, the Korean entertainment label, announced in late February.
Three more BLACKPINK members, Jennie in 2018 with “Solo,” Rose and Lisa in 2021 with “R” and “Lalisa,” respectively, all had successful solo debuts.
On a massive global tour, BLACKPINK is anticipated to draw about 1.5 million fans worldwide. Following the completion of the tour’s North American and European legs last year, the group performed throughout Asia in the early months of this year.

Jisoo from BLACKPINK is presently hard at work recording her solo album, according to a statement from YG the moment, according to Smoopi.
“She completed the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she had the chance while managing a demanding world tour schedule since last year to fulfill the fans’ expectations. She will soon delight her fans with some fantastic news.”
Born Pink, BLACKPINK’s second studio album with a total length, made its debut at the apex on the Billboard 200 in October 2022. The female group’s self-titled debut album launched and peaked at No. 2 in October 2020.
Australia and Mexico will get included on the Born Pink Global tour, BLACKPINK revealed earlier in the month. Four years after their festival debut in 2019, the quartet will make an unforgettable comeback to headline the Music & Arts Festival of Coachella Valley this year.
