Jennifer, now fondly known as JLo, was born to a beautiful Puerto Rican couple David Lopez who worked at an insurance company, and her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, who was a Tupperware salesperson initially and a kindergarten/gym teacher simultaneously. Jlo was raised along with the two siblings, Leslie and Linda. Even though they had a healthy and happy childhood with their loving parents, they split after a 33-year marriage in the 90s.
Lopez as a child, was a very active student. She took part in gymnastics, dance, and sports in high school.
She was such a performer that she bagged her first role in a low-budget indie movie ‘My Little Girl’ during her high school senior year. While pursuing her dream Jlo also dropped out of her college, so she remains an undergraduate.
