Hozier returns with the EP “Eat Your Young” and announces a world tour
Hozier, an Irish singer-songwriter with multiple platinum records, released a new soulful EP called Eat Your Young and announced a world tour.
With a soulful (and even orchestral) production, the Irish singer effectively utilizes his distinctive voice over most extended plays( EP).
Today is a big day for the music industry because of the birthday of the Irish musical legend. Happy 33rd Birthday, Hozier!
After Wasteland Baby in 2019, Andrew Hozier Byrne’s Eat Your Young EP is his first long work of brand-new music, and it serves as a prelude to the imminent release of his third studio album, Unreal Unearth.
Three songs from the upcoming album, including “All Things End,” the title song, and “Through Me (The Flood),” are included on the EP “Eat Your Young.” The release date of the EP is significant since it coincides with the 33rd birthday of the singer and St. Patrick’s Day, two important events in his life.
Both of the newest works get influenced by the traditional epic poem Dante’s Inferno, which prompts Hozier to consider hell: gluttony and heresy‘s two of the nine circles.
“Eat Your Young” comes after last year’s single “Swan Upon Leda,” which got released as “a display of solidarity” for women against injustice.

Hozier has scheduled a headline World tour for 2023; tickets will soon be available
