The Glorious Musical Career of Dave Grohl
Grohl is the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the rock group Foo Fighters, which he founded. He was the drummer for the grunge band Nirvana from 1990 until 1994 before starting Foo Fighters.
At 17, Grohl replaced the band’s drummer Kent Stax in the punk rock group Scream. After Scream disbanded in 1990, Grohl joined Nirvana as their drummer.
Dave made his drumming debut in 1991’s ‘Nevermind,‘ Nirvana’s second album, which was a big hit worldwide. Kurt Cobain’s death in April 1994 caused Nirvana to break up, and Dave Grohl started the Foo Fighters as a solo endeavor.

A full band was assembled in 1995, so they could perform live and release music under Foo Fighters. They have since put out ten studio albums.
Dave Grohl has toured and performed with Queens of the Stone Age. He is the drummer and co-founder of the rock ensemble Them Crooked Vultures. Additionally, Dave worked on the side initiatives Late! and Probot. In 1997, Grohl started making music videos for the Foo Fighters.
In 1997, Grohl started making music videos for the Foo Fighters. The documentary miniseries Sonic Highways (2014) and the documentary movie 2021’s ‘What Drives Us came after it.’ The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music, an autobiography by Grohl, was published in 2021.

Grohl and the Foo Fighters appeared in the comedy-horror movie Studio 666 in 2022 as themselves.
He was listed in 2010 as one of the 20 most significant rock musicians by the co-author of Classic Rock Drummers Ken Micallef.
As a member of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and 2021, respectively.
The COVID-19 outbreak caused a delay in the release of Medicine at Midnight, the tenth studio album by the Foo Fighters. It was released on February 5, 2021, and it made its Billboard 200 debut at position three. The tour, titled ‘Medicine at Midnight,’ was canceled after Hawkins passed away on March 25, 2022.
