365 DAYS This Day Review: 365 Days is a Polish erotic thriller released in 2020 whch is based on a novel by Blanka Lipinska.
The film is about a young woman from Warsaw in a loveless relationship kidnapped by a dominant Sicilian mafioso who imprisons and imposes on her a time of 365 days for her to fall in love with him.
When released on Netflix, the film gained worldwide attention, becoming the most-watched film globally.
365 Days: This Day, released on April 27, 2022, is a follow-up sequel to the previously released 365 Days.
This Day is based on the second novel in the sequence by Lipinska.
The film was released to a widely hostile reception like the previous one.
Laura & Massimo finally return in the sequel to 365 Days. The first film had a cliffhanger ending. In the sequel, Massimo finally gets married to Laura.
The couple’s happy until Laura feels boredom creeping into her married life, while Massimo is paying more attention to his work.
Arguments ensue between the couple; Laura starts spending time with her gardener Nacho.
One night Laura sees Massimo cheating on her with an ex-girlfriend. Laura feels heartbroken and flees the party; she asks Nacho to take her away.
They both leave together for an island. Laura enjoys her island life and fantasizes about Nacho, while Massimo has no clue as to what happened and where is Laura?
Nacho asks Laura to accompany him to his dad’s place; he informs Laura that his dad is from the rival gang of Massimo; Laura is at a loss for words and feels deceived, but still, she agrees to go with him to his father’s.
Nacho leaves Laura with guards and goes to see his father. Massimo & Nacho’s father is arguing with each other; Nacho realizes the guards he left Laura with are not his father’s.
Both Massimo & Nacho run to save Laura, but Laura has been kidnapped by Massimo’s twin brother Adriano.
It’s disclosed that the night Laura saw Massimo cheating on her with Anna. It was Adriano.
Both brothers have been rivals, and it was Adriano’s plan all along.

The principal leads, Michele Morrone & Anna-Maria Sieklucka, will reprise the role of Massimo & Laura.
